Of course, Nashville's vibrant cultural life has much to offer beyond music alone. Nashville also plays host to the Southern Festival of Books in October, and to the Nashville Film Festival in April. This festival features hundreds of independent films and is one of the largest events of its kind in the southern United States. And sports enthusiasts also have plenty to cheer for, with two professional sports teams calling Nashville home--the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League and the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.
